Invisible Zippers

I never had the need to put in an invisible zipper until last spring when my Amy Butler Barcelona Skirt pattern called for one.  The pattern runs small and it did not fit but I was quite impressed by how easy the zipper was to insert.  Amazingly it is much more forgiving than a conventional zipper, no top stitching.   Here is a great tutorial.  The only thing that I would add is to only hold the zipper down 5/8" from the top.  That keeps you from having to sew on a hook.
