For a first year of canning I am quite pleased. I have greatly enjoyed the jam. It was fun having it available to gift in December. My stock of jam greatly cut down my Christmas season tension.
I plan on making all of the recipes again with the exception of the plain blueberry. I have found that for the most part I like the jams with a little umph. The plain blueberry jam doesn't quite have it though I will slightly cutdown the spices in the blueberry spice jam. I would do the same with the peach jam but I do have a couple of recipes that require either tomato paste or apricot jam for which I substitute the peach jam.
3 batches strawberry jam (21-1/2 pints total)
1 batch blueberry spice jam (5-1/2 pints)
1 batch blueberry jam (5-1/2 pints)
1 batch peach marmalade (9-1/2 pints)
1 batch peach jam (7-1/2 pints)
3 pints sweet cherries
I didn't get my apple butter made as I had hoped but there is always next year.
